Welcome!

As a part of the requirements for the completion of ETAD 802 – Historical and Theoretical Foundations of Educational Technology at the University of Saskatchewan, we are required to develop an academic voice in the field of Educational Technology and Design. ETAD 802 explores the historical, philosophical and theoretical foundations of educational technology. Additionally, the course examines the theory and research in the field and the impact of educational technology on educational institutions and practice. This website represents my attempt at synthesizing information in the growing field of Digital Storytelling and Interactive Digital Storytelling (IDS). I was drawn to exploring this topic, because of my experience working as an Instructional Designer, my love of stories, and my interest in gaming. The website will explore the topics below as a mini-lesson series. Throughout the lessons, you will have the opportunity to complete some of activities.
